Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Incontro ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Incontro is an event discovery and ticketing platform that connects event organisers with attendees. We provide tools for listing events, selling tickets, and discovering local events.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to purchase tickets or list events. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You may not use a false identity or impersonate any other person.

4. Event Organisers

Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of their event listings, including dates, times, venues, and ticket prices. Incontro reserves the right to remove event listings that violate these terms or our content policies.

Organisers must comply with all applicable laws and obtain any necessary permits for their events.

5. Ticket Purchases

All ticket sales are final unless the event is cancelled or significantly altered by the organiser. Refunds are at the discretion of the event organiser. Incontro is not responsible for refunds on behalf of organisers.

Tickets may not be resold or transferred without prior written consent from the event organiser.

6. Payments & Organiser Payouts

Payments for tickets are processed securely via Stripe. Incontro does not store your full card details. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these terms.

For paid ticket events, Incontro collects all ticket revenue on behalf of the organiser. Payouts are made within 30 days of the event date, minus a 2.5% platform fee + Stripe payment processing fees (1.5% + 20p per transaction) that cover payment processing, platform maintenance, and support.

By listing a paid event on Incontro you agree to these payout terms. Free-entry events are not subject to any platform fee. If you have questions about a payout, please contact hello@incontro.app.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform to: post false or misleading event information; engage in fraudulent transactions; scrape or harvest data from the Platform; circumvent any security measures; or violate any applicable laws or regulations.

8. Limitation of Liability

Incontro is a marketplace platform and is not the organiser of any event listed on the Platform. We are not liable for the actions of event organisers, cancellations, or the quality of events.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Incontro's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant transaction.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
